WAKEFIELD — Superintendent David DiBarri is pleased to welcome members of Northeast Metro Tech’s sending communities to an open house.
Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 6-8:30 p.m.

Northeast will host its annual open house next week, giving students and families from the schools’ 12 sending communities an opportunity to explore its vocational skills training programs.
Prospective students may bring up to two adults with them to the open house, which will feature self-guided tours and live demonstrations meant to showcase the hands-on training Northeast students experience in a wide variety of vocational areas.
Attendees will also learn about Northeast’s admissions process and the structure of its career technical programs, which balance vocational training with traditional high school education.
Northeast serves the communities of Chelsea, Malden, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Revere, Saugus, Stoneham, Wakefield, Winchester, Winthrop, and Woburn.
Northeast offers 16 industry-specific tech programs, which prepare students for careers in:
