Title I

Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School is a recipient of Title 1 funding from the United States Department of Education. These funds are utilized to achieve goals established by the federal government under No Child Left Behind (2002). The United States Department of Education fully realizes that a child’s education is a shared responsibility of the school and home. In compliance with Every Student Succeeds Act, Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School has developed a School-Family Compact which categorizes the responsibilities of both parties.

Being entrusted with your child’s education, the staff at Northeast Metropolitan Technical School will:

  • Teach according to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Massachusetts Career and Technical Frameworks;
  • Clearly communicate classroom and shop expectations;
  • Correct and return appropriate student work in a timely manner;
  • Communicate with you regarding your student’s progress;
  • Provide a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment for your child

As a parent/guardian, I understand how valuable my child’s education is. Wanting him/her to achieve at a high level, I will support my child to:

  • Attend school regularly and on time;
  • Complete his/her assignments;
  • Develop a positive attitude toward education
  • In addition, I will make every effort to attend Parent /Teacher conferences and/or maintain communication and collaboration with Northeast faculty and staff as appropriate.
