Title I Family Compact 2026–2027
Northeast receives Title I funding from the U.S. Department of Education, which supports public schools in helping students meet high academic standards.
In compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Northeast has developed a School Title I Family Compact outlining the shared responsibilities of the school, families, and students in supporting student success.
Our Northeast Family Compact outlines shared responsibilities:
- Educators / Staff: Provide high-quality instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and Career and Technical Education Frameworks, set clear classroom, shop, and school expectations, provide appropriate support, communicate student progress, and maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Parents/Guardians: Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, support assignments and learning activities, encourage a positive attitude toward learning, monitor academic progress, and communicate with the school when questions or concerns arise.
- Students: Attend school regularly and arrive prepared to learn, complete assignments and responsibilities to the best of their ability, ask for help when needed, respect others, follow classroom, shop, and school expectations, and remain committed to learning and personal growth.
Together, we share responsibility for student achievement and for creating a school culture where every student can thrive.
