NEASC Family Survey - Each Family Completes One Survey
|
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, a detailed message was sent to all families explaining the NEASC Accreditation process for Northeast Metro Tech. As part of this process, we kindly ask each family to complete a brief survey ( link). The survey should take approximately ten minutes to complete, and a high rate of participation is essential for the data to be valid.
Please keep the following details in mind before beginning a survey:
- A high rate of family response is necessary for the data to be considered valid.
- All surveys are confidential.
- No password is required to access the survey.
- Once started, the survey must be completed in one sitting.
- If the survey is exited before completion, it cannot be continued from the point of exit.
- Families are limited to one survey. Families with more than one student enrolled at Northeast do not need to complete multiple surveys.
- The survey is mobile-ready and can be completed on a computer, tablet, or phone.

Design & Visual Students Participate in MSBA Building a Logo Contest
|
Design & Visual students were excited to participate in the 2024 MSBA Building a Logo competition. This inspired a Studio 12 initiative where every senior researched the MSBA, created mood boards, and designed original logos, which will be submitted to the contest. Their work was showcased in a Gallery Walk for administrators.
To celebrate the collaboration, each student’s logo was turned into a decal on a custom hard hat, featuring DV and Northeast branding, and sent as keepsakes to MSBA dignitaries.

Students are expected to engage in learning opportunities in each class/shop throughout the school day. Cell phones and smartwatches distract students from participating in lessons, completing assignments, contributing to class discussions, and collaborating with teachers and classmates. Unsanctioned cell phone/smartwatch use during instructional time is prohibited. All learning spaces, including classrooms and shop areas, are equipped with cell phone holders near the teacher’s desk, where students must place their silenced devices upon arrival. Violations, including unauthorized photographing or video recording, may result in disciplinary action. Students are permitted to use their devices during lunch.
Emergency calls by students should be made in an administrative office, and families should contact Office A (ext. 1644) for individual student needs. Headphones/earbuds may be used for educational purposes only; otherwise, students should remove them. Bluetooth speakers are not allowed in the building.
