School Resource Officer Michael Pietrantonio would like to invite Northeast parents to attend an In Plain Sight event hosted by the Wakefield Police Department next month.
Parents will tour a teenager’s bedroom to learn the hidden signs of potential drug use, vaping, self harm and risky online behavior. All attendees will be provided with resources to take home and learn more about ways to help their children, if needed.
The event will be held on Nov. 7 from 8-10 a.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Nov. 8 from 8-10 a.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Wakefield Town Hall in the first floor conference room.
The event is free and open to the public and no appointment is needed.
