Northeast Metro Tech Football Player Suffers Serious Injury During Junior Varsity Game

WAKEFIELD — Superintendent David DiBarri and Deputy Fire Chief Tom Purcell report that a Northeast Metro Tech football player suffered a serious injury after a collision during a junior varsity game on Saturday. At approximately 10:30 a.m., Wakefield Fire responded to the high school’s football field for a report of a boy that was unconscious.
